Growth and Community Engagement

The organization has evolved from a nascent idea into an artistically vibrant movement. Founder Jana Szabo has strategically utilized fundraising events — such as intimate house concerts and performances at venues like the Hessler Music Barn— to establish roots and build the infrastructure necessary to realize their long-term vision. These gatherings foster a symbiotic relationship between art, community engagement, and philanthropy, proving that intimate performances can create deep connections and a shared sense of purpose.

The June 2025 Performance

The June 2025 performance at the home of Debra Richardson, VP of the Saratoga Orchestra, serves as a poignant demonstration of this community support. Beyond providing high-quality entertainment, the event was a pivotal example of how AAW uses music to build community spirit.

The Role of Collaborating Artists
