Instructor: Amber Gauthier, M. Music. mother a passionate music educator with advanced training in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary voice. She holds a Masters’ degree in Voice from the University of British Columbia and has extensive experience teaching students of all ages. Known for her encouraging teaching style an strong performance background, Amber helps singers build confidence, technique an authentic artistry.
“Arts Alive Whidbey” 2026 was so proud to present and support the “Pre School Choir” ages 3-5 on Whidbey Island called “The Singing Songbirds” held at Trinity Lutheran Church Freeland Wa. where the church donated classroom space for the choir to be held.
It was joyful, and play based while introducing the young children to the magic of singing in a fun, supportive group setting. Children explored their voices through movement, games, simple songs, and rhythm activities designed by Amber Gauthier primarily for preschoolers” with a fantastic “choir” performance at the close of the 6 week program. Bravissimo!!!!
Thank you Amber Gauthier for it was a great success and the very first children’s program that “Arts Alive Whidbey” sponsored. We hope you will consider doing this again next year.
